The filter press is also well suited for use in Chemical, plastic and industrial applications, where the handling of sludge and wastewater requires advanced, customised solutions. To meet the challenges of highly corrosive environments, such as marine environments, or to handle aggressive chemical solutions, special coatings and durable material constructions such as AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel are applied. Filter presses can be configured with closed pipe outlets to avoid contact with operators and ensure maximum safety.
Available in various models, filter presses can be constructed with PPAD plates or other plastic materials to ensure compatibility with specific chemicals and filtration temperatures. Each machine is built to the strictest accident prevention standards and, if necessary, can be built to ATEX standards for explosion-hazardous environments, ensuring reliability and safety in all operating conditions.
