BIFANG, SLURRY HOMOGENIZER TANK

Bifang, the sludge homogenizer tank, is used to keep the sludge, discharged from the settling tank, constantly moving in order to maintain perfect density and prevent sedimentation. It consists of a steel tank and one or two agitators driven by a motor.

MATEC PROBE SYSTEM
The four-probe system is something special that Matec offers to its customers and ensures total control over the state of the sludge inside the Bifang.

• Two probes detect the sludge level (maximum and minimum);
• One probe reaches almost the bottom of the tank and is connected to an alarm that activates when the sludge level is below the safety threshold;
• One last probe resets the low sludge alarm. Thanks to this system, the risks of interruption of the filtration process or anomalies in the operation of the filter press are eliminated
