We celebrate with great joy the inauguration of our new production hub, located in Boceda location in the municipality of Mulazzo. Matec Industries, one of the global leaders in green tech solutions for process water treatment, has taken an important step forward in the development of our corporate group.
This new investment represents a real milestone for us. It will not only allow us to increase our production capacity, but also enable us to become even more organised and efficient in providing timely and competitive service, including first-class support. With this expansion, we will be able to more than double our in-house production of machinery and ensure even faster delivery.
It is a real pleasure to see that numerous entrepreneurs and friends from England, France, South Africa and New Zealand have joined us to celebrate this important milestone. The presence of such international personalities demonstrates the recognition of our commitment to the industry and our reputation as a global benchmark.
Not only does this new production hub represent a big leap for Matec Industries, but we are also excited to underline our ongoing commitment to supporting local employment. Among the guests present during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, we were delighted to welcome many newly-hired Lunigianians, who will be joining our growing team. And it doesn’t end there! We have planned around sixty new hires, including clerks, engineers, specialised mechanics, electricians and relocators. Our mission is to create job opportunities and make a significant contribution to the development of our region.
Matec Industries is renowned for the design and production of complete crushing, screening and washing plants for inert materials, as well as innovative solutions in the field of wastewater treatment and filtration. Our areas of expertise range from mining to aggregates, gravel to sand, stone to marble, concrete to ceramics and glass. Our commitment to creating green and sustainable solutions is a fundamental pillar of our business.
During the inauguration event, we had the pleasure of presenting the world premiere of the brand new Megalith Testalta filter press, one of the largest in the world. This extraordinary innovation will help solve important problems related to water and sludge from industrial processes, making the quarry and mining sector more and more eco-friendly.
The increase in size and organisation of our Mulazzo site represents a stimulating challenge for the entire Matec Industries team. We faced this new challenge with a positive spirit, unity and dedication, aware that these are the key elements for the success of such an ambitious project. We are grateful to all those who helped make this extraordinary achievement possible.
